I am so excited for you guys! My 4 older siblings are adopted, and with out a doubt in my mind I've always known that the 6 of us kids were meant to be a family. Those 4 siblings mean the world to me and I can't imagine my life with out them! You guys are doing such a great thing! One day you will have a son or daughter that you will love unconditionally and once you look at him/her you will know that this is your child, and that Heavenly Father sent you this exact child specifically to you for many reasons that for now are unknown. You guys are awesome! Shannon, you are such a wonderful person! I miss you and love you lots! I wish you guys the best of luck!

http://cutegirlshairstyles.blogspot.com/ On this site she has a lot of info on adoption in Utah and about babies who are going to be born in August needing to be adopted. I don't know anything about it but went to the site for hairstyles. Good luck and I hope it helps.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell you good luck. We adopted our daughter Caitlin thru Family Services in IF, 9 years ago. Truly an amazing experience, I can say that now, then much harder to look at it as amazing before the adoption. Things come together usually when you do not expect them. Enjoy the journey, but continue on with your journey, don't let it become all consuming. Best wishes for you.

ReplyDeleteSome dear friends of ours are finally about to adopt a little boy. They posted their story on a website where the birth mom found their profile. It might help if you were to post your story there as well.

In our friend's case the birth mom lives on the east coast and our friends are in Utah. They are also using LDS services for the adoption process.
